Exploring the History, Legacy, and Future of the Maison Française

Drawing on archives, photographs, books, and personal testimonies, this exhibition traces the journey of the Maison Française d’Oxford from its founding in 1946 to the present day. It explores how the institution has evolved into a unique centre for research, cultural exchange, and scientific diplomacy, highlighting eight decades of intellectual collaboration between France & Britain.
