Nature Festival at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History
Saturday, 27 June 2026, 10am to 5pm
Oxford’s Nature Festival will bring together researchers, artists, community groups, environmental organisations and families for a week of public events celebrating nature, biodiversity and environmental action across Oxfordshire.
Events will run from 21–27 June 2026, culminating in a free, full-day festival at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History on Saturday, 27 June.
The Festival is being developed as a collaborative, volunteer-led initiative designed to showcase the wide range of nature-related work already taking place across Oxford and Oxfordshire.
Organisers hope the event will create new connections between researchers, local nature groups, cultural organisations and the public, while making nature more accessible to wider audiences.
Visitors can expect a varied programme including short talks, films, interactive "show-and-tell" activities, community stalls, workshops, walks and creative contributions inspired by nature.
Activities will be aimed at adults, families and young people, with an emphasis on accessibility, participation and public engagement.
