Greening Clinical Trials: Opportunities, Challenges and Open Questions

The event will explore with the speakers/audience the environmental impacts of clinical trials and the ecosystem of actors, tools and communities of practice working on greening clinical trials. We will bring key actors in the field in conversation with the research community with the goal of sharing helpful resources, discussing challenges and raising some broader questions.
Federica Lucivero will be chairing, and speakers include Carly Santer and Nathalie Preiswerk from the Sustainable Healthcare Coalition which hosts the Sustainable Clinical Trials Knowledge Hub and Clinical Trials Carbon Calculator, as well as Mike Hill, the Laboratory Scientific Director of the Wolfson Laboratory at Oxford Population Health.
We anticipate a lively conversation after the talks and refreshments will be available along with a chance to network and talk to the speakers.
