A session aimed at MPhil/MSt and DPhil students in Modern British History thinking about publishing an academic research article for the first time. The session will include interventions from both early-career researchers and established academics with roles as editors of major journals in the field. We will address every stage of the process, including how to select the material for your first article, the relationship between published articles and the DPhil thesis, choosing journals, the peer review process, incorporating revisions, essay prizes, and much more. We will also leave plenty of time for questions and discussion at the end.
