5th week (26th May): Kayvan Tahmasebian (Heidelberg/ONGC): ‘A textual materialist reading of Mirza Fath-Ali Akhundzadeh’s Maktubat’. (Please note that this seminar will be held online).

6th week (2nd June): Mehmet Önder Duran (Usak University/ONGC): ‘The Prometheans of Turkistan: Students Abroad and the National Struggle’.

7th week (9th June): Simon Theobald (Notre Dame/ONGC): title tbc

8th week (16th June): Eric Schluessel (Keble): ’The Mutiny of 1864: Revisiting Xinjiang's “Muslim Uprisings”.’
