This session is aimed at researchers seeking external research funding for their work. We will provide an overview of the most commonly applied for funding schemes in the department, outlining the types of support they can provide and focusing on questions of eligibility and fit. We will also highlight some differences between charitable funders/research councils/industry funders and others with regard to overhead and why this matters for you and for the department.
