Speaker 1: Shiri Shkedi‑Rafid
Title: “A genotype‑first approach across the life course: Expectations and challenges”
Speaker bionote: Shiri Shkedi‑Rafid is a researcher and genetic counsellor in Israel and directs the master’s program in genetic counselling at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research focuses on the integration of broad genomic technologies into clinical practice, with particular interest in the ethical issues that need to be navigated. Shiri is currently a visiting academic at CHG in the Lucassen/ CELS group, where she is focusing on DNA‑based screening, especially in newborns
