In early May, the European Commission will release its EU Anti-Poverty Strategy, an historic step toward encouraging European nations to reduce poverty and social exclusion. During this version of the INET Oxford Inequality Working Group, Sonia Vila Nuñez of the European Commission will present an overview of the Anti-Poverty Strategy. Afterward, two experts in European social policy – Bea Cantillon and Amílcar Moreira – will join Vila Nuñez for a discussion of the strategy.
