Please join this introductory session on using CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform for research in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering and Materials. This platform combines AI-enabled tools with the world’s largest collection of scientific information.
By the end of this session, you will be able to: identify which features and platform modules are best suited to your tasks from CAS SciFinder, Analytical Methods, and Formulus; use natural language queries to retrieve relevant literature; create and organise saved searches and alerts; build Projects to maintain and share bibliographies and related substances; utilise the CAS Lexicon to explore concept hierarchies and connect topics; locate substances and access associated data including properties, spectra, and pharmacological data; and leverage CAS Newton to summarise literature, generate insights, and explore career development.
