CorTalk 23: How Does the Front of the Brain Work?
Audience: Public Format: In PersonProfessor Behrens explores how the frontal regions of the brain support flexible behaviour, decision-making and learning
Wednesday, 24 June 2026, 3pm to 4pm
We are delighted to invite you to CorTalk 23, featuring Professor Timothy Behrens (Oxford).
Professor Timothy Behrens is Professor of Computational Neuroscience at the University of Oxford and a leading researcher in systems neuroscience and machine learning. His work seeks to understand how the brain learns, makes decisions, and adapts to complex environments, combining insights from neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and computational modelling.
In this talk, Professor Behrens will explore how the frontal regions of the brain support flexible behaviour, decision-making, and learning, drawing on recent advances in neuroscience research.
We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a fascinating and thought-provoking discussion.
