Oxford Global Health Seminar Series is a new discussion-led forum bringing together perspectives from across disciplines

Friday, 12 June 2026, 4pm to 6pm

AI is increasingly shaping global health – from diagnosis to decision-making. But can we trust it? Whose data does it rely on, and whose interests does it serve?

Seminar 1 | AI, Ethics and Global Health
• Prof Tingting Zhu, Associate Professor in AI for Digital Health
• Prof Angeliki Kerasidou, Associate Professor of Bioethics

The session will open with brief perspectives from both speakers, followed by short responses from early-career researchers, who will act as respondents – drawing connections, challenging assumptions, and opening up the discussion to the room.

The event includes a drink reception and informal networking.
