Discussion event on the Peruvian elections

This event brings together leading specialists on Peruvian politics to discuss the dynamics of Peru’s 2026 general elections following the first round of voting. The panel will explore changing patterns of electoral behaviour, the fragmentation of the political landscape, possible second-round outcomes, and the institutional and social challenges awaiting the next government amid ongoing political instability, insecurity, and public distrust. The discussion will be divided into three main blocks: electoral behaviour, possible outcomes of the second round and the challenges facing the next government.
