DESCRIPTION:Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping how healthcare is
delivered\, governed\, and experienced. From clinical decision-making to
health system organisation\, AI offers powerful tools to improve care\, bu
t also raises urgent questions about equity\, access\, accountability\, an
d trust.\n\nThis year’s Human Welfare Conference explores how AI and rel
ated technologies can be developed and deployed in ways that genuinely ser
ve human welfare\, rather than reinforce existing inequalities. Through ke
 ynote lectures\, panel discussions\, and student-led research sessions\, t
he conference asks not only what is technically possible\, but who benefit
s\, who is excluded\, and how choices made today will shape healthcare in
the future.\n\nThe programme is designed to encourage thoughtful exchange
 across disciplines\, including medicine\, engineering\, social science\, e
thics\, policy\, and entrepreneurship. The conference is open to Oxford Un
iversity students as well as students and participants from other universi
 ties and institutions.
