 in July 2026\, Pembroke College JCR Art Gallery presents Oxford and the Am
 erican Revolution\, a pop-up exhibition exploring the web of connections b
 etween our local community and the world-changing struggle for American in
 dependence. Through objects\, images\, and storytelling\, the exhibition s
 howcases how Oxford students\, graduates\, and Oxfordshire residents parti
 cipated in the debates over the governance of Britain’s North American c
 olonies and in the violent conflict that ultimately resulted in the separa
 tion of the United States from the British Empire.
