DESCRIPTION:Japan’s current policy relies on multi-indicator well-being
dashboards\, which fail to capture individual inequalities and obscure tre
nds behind stagnant average scores. This seminar looks at the construction
of a composite Gross Wellbeing Index (GWI)\, created with the aim of offe
ring superior\, actionable insights over simple dashboards by exposing hid
den inequalities and structural deficits. In this seminar\, Takahashi Yosh
i will evaluate whether the GWI better detects demographic and regional di
sparities compared to a standard dashboard.\n\nJoin us to learn more about
the methodology behind this study\, and what its results show about wellb
 eing in Japan.
