f the Oxford University Press Treatments that work series.\n\nMany parents
suffer from depression after having a baby. This can be debilitating and
distressing for parents and their families. Depression in the postpartum p
eriod often goes unrecognized\, leaving parents struggling with its impact
. Early identification and treatment are essential in order to promote the
best outcome possible for parents and their babies.\n\nThe book provides
a step-by-step guide of an evidence-based treatment for postpartum depress
ion and aims to be a resource for therapists treating parents using this a
pproach. There is an accompanying workbook for those parents undertaking t
his treatment\, including detailed worksheets and resources.\n\nThe event
features a panel discussion with the authors Anne Stewart\, Heather O’Ma
hen and Alan Stein\, followed by a Q&A. The panel is chaired by Fiona Alde
rdice\, Professor in Perinatal Health and Wellbeing\, Queen’s University
Belfast\n\nFollowing the panel and general discussion\, drinks and nibble
