DESCRIPTION:Convened by Timothy Power (Oxford) and Cesar Zucco (Columbia U
 niversity)\, this research workshop will debate 6 new draft papers based o
 n the 10th Wave of the Brazilian Legislative Survey (BLS)\, which has been
  conducted in every legislative session since Brazil’s redemocratization
  in the 1980s. More than 1500 responses have been received by over 1200 fe
 deral deputies and senators over the past 35 years\, covering topics such 
 as democracy\, economic policy\, environmental sustainability\, civil-mili
 tary relations\, institutional design\, foreign relations\, and cultural v
 alues. The papers will provide the first analysis of the unreleased data f
 rom the 10th Wave of the BLS\, fielded between March and November 2025 wit
 h 137 federal legislators in Brasília.
