DESCRIPTION:Rosemary was a member of the University of Oxford between 1971
  and 2008 where she became a unique contributor to Latin American Studies.
   Rosemary was director of the Latin American Centre three times as well a
 s head of the Oxford Department of International Development.  An active m
 ember in St Antony's College\, she was particularly interested on Peru and
  wrote extensively on economic history\, economic transformation\, public 
 policy and inequalities.\n\nThe event will take place on Thursday 11 June 
 from 5 to 6.30 in the Nissan Lecture Theatre (St Antony's College).  Pleas
 e join us to hear contributions from former students and colleagues and to
  celebrate Rosemary's work.  The event will be chaired by the Warden of St
  Antony's\, Roger Goodman.
