DESCRIPTION:The Oxford Transcription and RNA club is a vibrant network of
researchers united by a shared interest in all things related to RNA! From
various basic aspects of transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulat
ion of gene expression. We hosts monthly talks that take place at 3pm on t
he last Friday of every month. The scientific seminar\, which typically la
sts around 30-40 minutes\, is followed by a Q&A session that usually runs
for about 15-20 minutes\, depending on the engagement. We do encourage all
to participate and ask question especially young career researchers. Afte
r the Q&A\, we wrap up with an informal networking session over drinks and
pizza\, which generally continues until around 5pm.\n\nAll interested mem
bers of the University of Oxford are more than welcome to join providing t
hey have an OX affiliation and respect the confidentiality of the data pre
sented as the talks usually feature non-published or soon to be published
data or industry partnership presentations. For more information\, feel fr
