DESCRIPTION:Speaker Bio:\nAlbert is Professor of Neuroscience and Epigenet
 ics at the University of Exeter where his research group studies the funct
 ion of chromatin modifying factors in brain development and function\, pri
 marily using the mouse a model system. He graduated with a BSc\, BSc(Hons)
  and MSc in Biochemistry from the University of Pretoria and obtained his 
 PhD in Immunology from the University of Cambridge. After post-doctoral re
 search in Molecular Immunology at the National Institute for Medical Resea
 rch in London\, he trained in developmental biology and genetics at the Mo
 unt Sinai School of Medicine in New York\, King’s College London and Uni
 versity of California\, San Francisco as a recipient of a Wellcome Trust I
 nternational Prize Travelling Fellowship.\n\nHe started his own research g
 roup at King’s College London in 2006 where he was Professor of Developm
 ental Neurobiology before moving to Exeter in 2023.
