Friday, 22 May 2026, 9.30am to 4pm

The Earth System Dynamics research day will be held from 9.30-16.00 on Friday 22nd May 2026 in the East Lab.

The aim of the event is to showcase the diversity of physical geography focused research undertaken across SoGE and its component research institutes, to foster and deepen connections between the research clusters, and to explore the potential for collaborative research initiatives.

The event will consist of a programme of talks and posters covering the full breadth of research undertaken in the department, including but not limited to climate, ecology, geomorphology, and hydrology. Time will also be available for informal networking and discussion of potential collaboration opportunities. We encourage contributions from participants from all career stages, as well as undergraduate and masters students.

There is no registration fee. Lunch and coffee will be provided, and there will be a networking drinks event at the end of the day.

Department: School of Geography and Environment (Department)
