Oxford Transcription and RNA Club seminar and networking: The role of NSUN2 in Dicer mediated tsRNA biogenesis and nascent RNA silencing
Audience: Member of University - ALL Format: In PersonThe Oxford Transcription and RNA Club monthly seminar
Friday, 26 June 2026, 3pm to 5pm
The Oxford Transcription and RNA club is a vibrant network of researchers united by a shared interest in all things related to RNA! From various basic aspects of transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression. We hosts monthly talks that take place at 3pm on the last Friday of every month. The scientific seminar, which typically lasts around 30-40 minutes, is followed by a Q&A session that usually runs for about 15-20 minutes, depending on the engagement. We do encourage all to participate and ask question especially young career researchers. After the Q&A, we wrap up with an informal networking session over drinks and pizza, which generally continues until around 5pm.
All interested members of the University of Oxford are more than welcome to join providing they have an OX affiliation and respect the confidentiality of the data presented as the talks usually feature non-published or soon to be published data or industry partnership presentations.
